I have several different bench blocks. This one is by far the best and most secure of the bunch. If you work on AR.s this thing is a must have.

It needed a little more surface area for the vise to grab. I found with a lot of torque on a barrel it would twist out. Granted my vise has wood cleats, might make a difference if it's an all metal vise.

AR10-15 Combo vise block works well it could be a 1/4" wider so the vise you use wouldn't touch the install pins heads
