4 of 5 Almost perfect May 15, 2017

the installation process was simple, but the rail was about one degree off. I needed to use a special wrench to torque if counter-clockwise to get it perfectly centered. Other than than, that rail is the most incredible looking and perfectly machined piece I have in the industry. I'll be using your rail for my upcoming 7.62 build. How about making the 02 lite for the 7.62? That would be a real beauty. Thanks!

4 of 5 Great light forend but with downsides March 13, 2017
Reviewer: James S from Ft. Worth, TX United States
I first picked this handguard for its awesome looks and the minimal weight, both things that met my expectations for sure. However with the weight savings there are some strength losses in the material. I think the aluminum is sufficiently strong for most applications. They include a small rail section which has little steel T-nuts to slide into the mlok sections that is made from steel. These are nothing special except that one of mine was not threaded properly and caused the small nut to eat away at the aluminum slot rendering that spot on the rail useless. So I recommend not using the included nuts and getting something higher quality. The rail itself is still my favorite forend in my inventory and I'll still use it.

4 of 5 Great Forend, Horrible Barrel Nut System January 14, 2017
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Cleveland, OH United States
I absolutely love the O2 Lite Forend, but the 2-piece barrel nut system is a nightmare! Make sure you buy the Crowfoot Wrench from Odin, and prepare to use a strapping wrench or some other technique to keep the Forend Adapter from moving while you tighten the barrel nut. The alignment pin they provide doesn't work, as it allows the forend adapter to move slightly and you will never be able to align the forend. You need about 5 hands and 14 attempts to get it all straight! Odin Works - It's time to change that 2-nut system, because it stinks!

2 of 5 Looks good, installation needs improvement September 20, 2016
Reviewer: Michael from Westwood, MA United States
I have purchased two of these O2 lite forearms. Both had the same issue on two different receivers. They attach to the upper via an adapter nut and a locking nut. The alignment is accomplished with a pin that goes through the adapter nut and into the gas port on the upper to hold it in place while you torque the locking nut. This pin fits too loosely in the gas port so after you torque the nut, the rail is misaligned by 1-2mm with the upper receiver. I contacted Odin works for help with this but the person on the phone had no idea what I was talking about and the guy that could never called me back.
I had to modify the pin with metal working tools and after an hour I got it properly sized and tapered so it worked.
For the money, it should work already and they should call you back if it doesn't.
The rail itself is great so after you do their job for them, it's awesome.
Minus one star for the loose pin and minus two for poor customer service.

5 of 5 Very light and well machined handguard. August 4, 2016
Reviewer: Garrett
I installed this on my 300blk upper and it is incredibly light and fits very nice in my hand.  The diameter is just enough to allow a comfortable grip in my hand.  The mounting hardware included is very nice and they also include a small pack of vibra-tite for torquing down the barrel nut.

The only minor issue is the 2 piece barrel nut/adapter
can be a bit fiddly to get the rail section on the hand guard perfectly aligned with the rail on the upper.
The alignment rod that goes thru the adapter into the upper
fits too loosely to make exact alignment easy.
