Ended up spending an entire weekend testing this barrel. Shot up about 200 rounds. I cannot tell you how amazing this barrel is. Most of the ammo shot was sub-MOA or better. A lot of it printed 1/2 MOA and a few even printed 1/3 MOA. This was not a range; this was in the Utah desert, shooting off a table, the gun resting on a sandbag, targets set up 120 paces away. Real world results. I took a lot of pictures. Too bad there is no way to upload them here.
-IMI 556 55gr - 3 MOA (Can't win em all) -PPU 223 55gr - 1 MOA -Amer Eagle 223 55gr - sub-MOA -NormaTAC 223 55gr - sub-MOA -PMC 223 55gr - sub-MOA -PPU Match 223 69gr- 1/2 MOA! (2 groups printed 1/3 MOA!) -PPU Match 223 75gr - 1/2 MOA -Fed GMM SMK 223 69gr - 1/3 MOA (One group printed 1/4 MOA!!)
I would like to see what kind of groupings I can achieve with hand loads but with this kind of accuracy with factory ammo, is there a reason to tailor a custom handload?
