2 of 5 Stripped easily May 30, 2023
Reviewer: Joseph Roby from Ohio
Bought a used Odin handguard for my ar10 build.. it came with stripped screw holes for the mounting screws .. ordered a new replacement from Odin and while I was mounting it the bottom two screws stripped before they were even torqued to specs.. thankfully the side screws on either side didn’t strip and I called it hood enough.. I’m looking for heli coil inserts to try and fix the first handguard adapter and fix the week point issue with these adapters..    a steel version would not have had this issue…

2 of 5 "Soft" Forend Adapter Issues January 21, 2023

Overall, I'm very pleased with fit and function of your products. But please start offering a steel forend adapter for your handguards! Personally, I'll take the trade off of a few ounces of additional weight for the increased durability of steel. This would especially benefit those of us who remove the handguard to replace/adjust gas blocks, change out the handguard itself, etc.

1 of 5 Strips very easily February 19, 2021
Reviewer: jordan v from CRITTENDEN, KY United States
Amazing concept and overall an easy installation.  However, a steel version would fix the problem of stripping too easily when re-installing.  After reading countless reviews on this after experiencing the problem first hand I'm shocked it hasn't been fixed by OW, do you read your own reviews??  Secondly, I paid for 2 day shipping and it took close to 2 weeks to arrive, very slow processing speed.  If the quality is bad and the turn around speed is slow, that's not a good combination for business.

4 of 5 Almost 5 Stars January 26, 2021
Reviewer: Kona Golden from Commiefornia
First, I would recommend the O2 Lite. I like it so much, I bought a second ad will buy more. The mounting system is unique, fast and so far, has proven to be strong as well as light. Why did I knock off 1 Star? Three reasons. First, there was a small raised nick on the rail where it meets the upper receiver. I just did a light file and touched up the anodized spot with a tiny bit of flat black paint. Second, there were no instructions included. Not that I really needed them, but torque specs and screw sizes would have been nice. Why. Because one screw I received had only one thread. My fault for not inspecting them inspecting them, but it led to a stripped screw hole.  I did drill it from 10-32 and tap for 1/4", but just decided to buy a new part for $10. Odin Works shipped the part quickly, with tracking, so no worries. If you're considering this handguard, get it. It's solid, light, and if you pay attention to proper torque for 10-32 screws and inspect the parts, it will work well.

2 of 5 LONG PROCESSING TIME... NOT IMPRESSED September 22, 2020
Reviewer: Kenneth Bowman from Fort Worth, TX United States
Placed order for new handguard nut since I stripped first one (please offer this in steel version!), and paid as much for two day shipping as the part itself.  It took 14 days for Odin Works to process the order, and then it arrived three days later vice two that I paid for anyway.  Not impressed, but I needed the part.  Would have liked a 14 day processing time to be advertised while ordering such a a warning or notice during checkout.  Seems like I could have just purchased regular and saved half the money I spent on nothing.  Ultimately, I will probably replace handguard next time with something more durable overall and stay away from soft aluminum mounts.
