Quality craftsmanship September 1, 2020 Reviewer: Astroblack from North Carolina   Don't be an idiot like me and order the wrong adapter with your upper. The 2.06 is for Aero/DPMS platforms. The threads are slightly sensitive to over tightening and strip easily. I was also not completely done with my build so I installed and removed the adapter to many times (my bad). I own many Odin products and never had an issue, quality craftsmanship. Was this review helpful to you?

Aluminum Strips too easily August 5, 2020 Reviewer: Checkpoint from Bravo   General fitment is great, however, as others have mentioned, this is very susceptible to being stripped.  Use a torque wrench and do not exceed specified toque.   I personally use 15 in/lb and vibratite.  Had to buy another because of the stripping. Great design, but weakest link April 17, 2020 Reviewer: Gert Z from GARLAND, TX United States   May we have an option of steel, titanium or aluminum alloy? The soft aluminum is in my opinion not very suitable for fore-end attachment. The original rifle builder had already stripped some of the holes and the fore-end came loose, so I ordered a replacement. Another reviewer mentions an installation video, which I still can't find any reference to while looking at the description and technical specs online. Re-mounting the fore-end I decided to try 40 in/lb torque, and as a result experienced some sinking feeling realizing I had stripped one of the bottom holes. I would now recommend to myself not to exceed 25 in/lb torque, and use some red Loctite. For my mistake I will need to order yet another replacement adapter, or find larger screws and re-thread the holes. I'm also considering asking a machinist to custom make a replacement made from a sturdier alloy or steel. This is getting unnecessarily expensive, but thanks for allowing me to post my very subjective review. Was this review helpful to you?

Stripped Threads March 19, 2020 Reviewer: wallibe from Ponca City, OK United States   Had to replace the adapter that came with the forend. Pay attention to the installation video, they say not to over tighten the screws.  They are correct, easily stripped if you really put the torque to them. My fault entirely. Great quality, poor material March 13, 2020 Reviewer: Philip Cabuyadao from Simi Valley, CA United States   This should not be aluminum, handguard mounting holes strip easily, should be made out of steel. Had to order a replacement one for the handguard I purchased. I mean it comes with steel screws. Was this review helpful to you?
