2 of 5 Problem with tunable gas block June 11, 2026

I'm a big Odin Works fan. Their barrels are unbeatable but their tunable gas blocks are not up to par in my opinion. I take my rifles on ATV rides and therefore they are exposed to rough terrain, vibrations etc. I have several of Odin Works gas blocks and have always installed them as received and they were set perfectly. Problem is that the set screw can vibrate free from the jam screw and then you have a bolt action weapon instead of a semi automatic weapon which happened to me. Even if you locktite both screws, there is still no guarantee that they won't move. I will switch to fixed gas blocks from here on out. My weapons may be overgassed, but at least they will function when I need them to. If it's good enough for the Army and USMC, it's good enough for me.

I use this gas block as well a the Atlas 5 on my 20” AR coyote rifle, also with a 2.8oz buffer, flat wire spring, and lightweight bcg. Total game changer!! Rifle length systems already have a lower recoil than standard carbine length AR’s. But after using this Set-And-Forget gas block and the Atlas 5, I have ZERO recoil now. Follow up shots are a breeze as the scope never moves unless I move it. I have since installed this gas block on customer rifles and they love it. As always, Odin delivers!

Seems to work well.  Easy to install. Just need to have an extra-long allen wrench to reach it once the handguard is on.  Wish there was some kind of chart showing %gas per revolution of the adjustment.
