Barrel Warranty Policy:
As with all ODIN Works products, our barrels are made by shooters of different disciplines, and we expect our barrels to perform. To that end, our barrels are backed by our limited lifetime warranty to protect against any manufacturing defects. In addition to a workmanship guarantee, most of our barrels are backed by a 1 MOA guarantee. Due to the number of variables that impact accuracy, we do ask that certain criteria be met before requesting a warranty claim:
-Proper barrel break-in procedure followed
Using factory match-grade ammunition from a US-based company tested in 3-shot group at 100 yards
Ammunition suitable for barrel twist rate
Proper barrel nut torque specifications met
Clearance between the gas block and handguard verified
Barrel tested without a muzzle device (to reduce variables)
Quality optic suited for precision shooting properly mounted and torqued
Barrel properly cleaned and maintained with no pitting or damage to bore and no damage to crown
If the previous conditions have been satisfied and the barrel fails to meet 1 MOA, the customer can choose to send in the barrel for warranty inspection.
Please note that the customer is responsible for shipping the barrel to our facility for testing.
Please ensure that the barrel is clean prior to sending it in for evaluation, or a cleaning fee of $55 will be incurred.
Please also ensure that all third-party products are removed from the barrel.
Our inspection will consist of two phases: a primary in-shop quality inspection (manufacturing metrology, key measurements, borescope, etc.), and if necessary, we will then assess the performance of the barrel by shooting it at the range. While we understand the value of time and will work to efficiently assess the claim, please note that the process may take 4 to 6 weeks to conclude. If the barrel fails to meet a metric during the quality inspection, it will be repaired or replaced with the same type of barrel. If the barrel fails to meet an accuracy assessment at the range (typically a sub-MOA 3-shot group at 100 yards with factory match ammunition), then it will be repaired or replaced with the same barrel type.
PLEASE NOTE: The ODIN Works limited lifetime warranty does not cover barrels for normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, misuse, neglect, or when the barrel has been altered or modified from its original form. The application of Cerakote may not negate the warranty and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If a replacement is warranted, the replacement barrel will be the same product (i.e.-same caliber and profile) that was sent in for the claim. If the barrel sent in for the claim is no longer in production, then it can be exchanged for a barrel of equal or lesser value.
