Works great with 45 degree throw, much better than traditional AR safeties!

5 of 5 My Favorite January 25, 2026
Reviewer: Bobby B from United States
This is my go to ambi-safety. I have it on all of my builds and many customer builds (I think a dozen now). I love the push-push configuration, and identical size on both sides. The 45 or 90 degree option is great. This is my personal go to choice. One piece of advice I would give that I've received from a few customers is they find a little bit of interference with their grip on the right side of the gun. So something to take into account. But it's a mainstay in my builds.

5 of 5 Nice upgrade January 11, 2026
Reviewer: Mike D from The Villages, FL United States
These are a nice upgrade. I have a few safety brands, but these are now my ho to. You can work them from both sides, they have are smooth, and a distinct click. The FDE and Ranger Green both look nice.

Picked up a few in Ranger Green and one DT. I was surprised they didn't come with a detent, Not a big deal, I always keep extras. You can't go wrong with these, they look great and function well. I'll be getting more.

5 of 5 My new go to March 27, 2025
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I had been looking for and trying various ambi safeties out.  The standard ambi safety where you'd have an identical flip switch on the right hand side didn't' feel right to me, it would feel awkward on my straight trigger finger when flipping.

Tried SI's model of ambi safety, and found that I like the concept of design, but it had too rough of edges and while close, wasn't the one.

The Odin Works so far is the best I've found.  I run it in the 45 degree configuration.  The safety still has plenty of purchase for your thumb without having the rough edges the SI flavor had.  The slight bend in the safety as well perfectly aligns it to where my brain expects it to be.  I've been exceptionally pleased with these, and run them on several builds.  I haven't had to interact with their customer service so I can't speak to that, but as far as these safeties go, they're now my go to for new builds.
