Super robust lockup, 8 screws, quality, very light October 28, 2025 Reviewer: Daniel_S from San Jose, CA   This handguard uses a very unique mounting system. Super strong, 8  screws holding this handguard on. Super super solid. No way it will ever rotate. Cutouts could use more deburring before anodizing, but it's too late now - unless you want to destroy the finish. The grip is good, just a little sharp. Super light. I love this  handguard so far. I like the looks! Barrel nut can be a little hard to torque when keeping the included gas-tube guide tool, just gotta go slow and reposition when the tool starts to interfere with your barrel nut wrench. I was able to do it no problem with an action rod . 50 ft/lbs. I'm glad I chose this Rune handguard ! Was this review helpful to you?

Ridig Light Precise August 13, 2024 Reviewer: Dirty Shirt from Florida   Very impressed with the quality. The parts are precisely manufactured. The fit is very snug between the individual components. When assembled correctly the parts align with ZERO wiggle room. The handguard feels great in the hand and is very light. Even though it's light it is very rigid and does not flex. I've seen people say the 2 piece barrel nut is hard to align but those people must have low IQ's. Overall, the handguard exceeded my expectations. Was this review helpful to you?

Amazing quality and feel August 10, 2020 Reviewer: Mike from Illinois   I bought this for a lightweight 14.7” build because it’s one of the lightest options without going the carbon fiber route and I absolutely love it. It feels great and the barrel nut is high quality which is important to me. You also don’t have to worry about timing it so that’s another plus. Their customer service is also fantastic. I lost one of the screws and contacted them about it. They sent me an entire extra set of mounting hardware with some stickers and a patch thrown in at no cost to me. Rune rails June 8, 2020 Reviewer: Chase M from Sparks, NV United States   Overall impressed with the weight of the rails and finish on them. I would 100% consider Odin works for other parts on builds and will keep my eyes on their products. Only gripe with the order overall was the bag with screws and mounting equipment had metal shavings in it that got everywhere when I dumped out the pouch. Was this review helpful to you?

April 29, 2020 Reviewer: Caleb Leen from Rogers, MN United States   Recently purchased the RUNE forend. I am very happy with my purchase so far. The forend looks really good. Also has a good color match with my Areo Precision upper. The mounting system is one of the best designs out there in my opinion. Also the forend is very slim yet the is no flex to it. It is so so light! I would highly recommend purchasing one. And will definitely be getting another with my next build. Was this review helpful to you?
