If a stock is what you've been waiting for, it's time to make the switch and UNBRACE.

The ODIN Works CQ UNBRACED Stock Conversion Kit lets you convert your ODIN Works CQ-B (Close Quarters Brace) assembly to a CQ-S (Close Quarters Stock) configuration. No need to replace the entire assembly. This conversion kit gives your existing setup a fresh look and a new purpose.

Important: It's a new era for firearm owners—less bureaucracy and more freedom. However, firearm configurations remain subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws. Customers are responsible for verifying the legality of their complete firearm configuration before installation or use. Changes in federal enforcement policy do not override state or local restrictions.

Required Tools and Hardware
- 9/64" hex wrench (supplied)
- (2) 8-32 x 1/4" socket head cap screws (supplied)
- (2) existing 8-32 x 1/2" socket head cap screws (retained from CQ-B assembly)
- Threadlocker (optional)
Installation Procedure
Step 1 – Prepare the Assembly
Begin with your complete ODIN Works CQ-B (Close Quarters Brace) assembly. Confirm the firearm is unloaded and safe before beginning installation, and follow the manufacturer's firearm-handling instructions.
Step 2 – Attach the CQ-S Plate to the Adapter Mount
Using a 9/64" hex wrench, attach the CQ-S plate to the adapter mount with the two supplied 8-32 x 1/4" socket head cap screws.
- Locate the two threaded cross holes at the top of the adapter mount.
- Position the V-shaped plate with its widest portion at the top.
- Start both screws, but do not fully tighten them at this time.
Step 3 – Remove the Existing Brace Armrest
Remove the two existing 8-32 x 1/2" socket head cap screws securing the pistol brace armrest (the fin-shaped component used to attach a Velcro® strap).
Retain both screws for installation of the adapter mount and plate assembly.
Step 4 – Install the Adapter Mount and Plate Assembly
Position the adapter mount and plate assembly in place, with the CQ-S plate facing toward the rear of the stock.
Reinstall the two retained 8-32 x 1/2" socket head cap screws, inserting one from each side. Tighten both screws until snug.
Step 5 – Align the CQ-S Plate
Viewed from the rear of the stock, adjust the plate so that its contour aligns with the surrounding cheek rest around the buffer tube.
Check the alignment visually before proceeding.
Step 6 – Secure the CQ-S Plate
Once the plate is properly aligned, tighten the two 8-32 x 1/4" socket head cap screws until snug.
Step 7 – Final Inspection
Verify that all four screws are secure and that the CQ-S plate is properly aligned with the cheek rest.
If the screws tend to loosen during operation, apply a suitable threadlocker according to the threadlocker manufacturer's instructions.
Installation is complete.
