The O2 Lite is the latest and lightest of all the ODIN Works Forends. Precision machined from 6005-T651, the O2 Lite is a full 20% lighter than its predecessors. All ODIN Works Forends are free floating for accuracy and hard anodized for durability.

Seems nice and good quality,  good diameter for my hand,  I have only had it out to the range one time so I cannot comment on the durability but overall I am happy with it so far.

Very good experience.  Ordered wrong forend by mistake.  Return and exchange were accepted and handled promptly.  Would definitely order components from Odin works again.

5 of 5 Sometimes you need BIG NUTS! November 4, 2021

I purchased a DPMS Sweet 16 upper several years ago.  It has a very thick bull barrel and shoots fantastic but I always hated the round, factory Forend and clunky .936 gas block.  I made the decision to switch out the Forend thinking my biggest problem would be the gas block.  I had several parts laying around and the biggest problem was finding a barrel nut big enough to go over the breech end of the barrel which was 1.055.  I tried six different barrel nuts and they were all too small. Doing my research, I quickly found out that no one tells you the size of the inside of the barrel nut in the specifications.  I emailed ODIN Works and they suggested "02 Lite Forend."  I even had a manufacturer suggest I ream out the barrel nut to make it fit.  I am handy but NO!  I put a low profile gas block on the barrel.  The 02 Lite Forend fits great and my DPMS Sweet 16 has a very nice new look.  Love the Forend and I will probably buy a 17.5 inch for my DPMS Bull 24.
