3 of 5 Not very heavy July 19, 2026
Reviewer: Adam Frost from Frankfort, KY United States
Nice design but it has to be the lightest heavy buffer ever. Anyway didn’t help the light strike. It’s now sitting in a drawer maybe useful for the next build

1 of 5 FRT Buffer July 5, 2026
Reviewer: JJ from America
I was excited to receive these but completely disappointed with the outcome. Fit one in and nothing, no bang, no nothing, failed to even fire semi, much less with a FRT. Swapped back out to the H3 and flawless, I have to return them as they are paperweights right now.

5 of 5 H-FRT9 Heavy Buffer June 11, 2026
Reviewer: JakeE from Pickens, SC United States
Not much of a review here, I’ve only put about 200 rounds down range with this system, but it does seem to function very well. I just built a full Aero/Ballistic Advantage 8.3” AR9, and this is the buffer/spring I threw in, with the intention of putting in a super safety down the road. The only issues I had seem to be ammo related, tried multiple 147 grain rounds, and the one that fired without issue was blazer brass, has feeding issues with Remington UMC and Fiocchi 147’s, but it ate the blazer and regular ball with zero issues. The buffer/spring did its job well, felt recoil was lighter than expected, cycling felt smoother than a standard setup, and like I said, functioned flawlessly with ammo that gun seemed to like. I’ll update this review whenever I throw in a super safety and run this build over 1k rounds. So far I’m quite happy with it.

5 of 5 9mm pcc buffer spring combo June 8, 2026
Reviewer: Russell Carter from Abingdon, VA United States
My combo appears to be a solid unit. Well thought out and straight forward in design. Although I looks like a hydraulic unit it isn’t. I can’t wait until I find time to use it. I can’t see any reason for it not to do everything I need!

5 of 5 Fantastic Buffer June 8, 2026
Reviewer: Tanner from Saint George, UT United States
Purchased this to go in my new AR9 build with an FRT. This worked flawlessly out of the box. No adjustments were needed. I slapped this bad boy in and it ran like a machine. Will be purchasing another for my next build.

5 of 5 Work right out of the Bag H-FRT9 June 7, 2026
Reviewer: Franklin Pound from Moss Point, MS United States
It worked right out the bag. Ran 300 rounds thru my BCA 9 last night at the range with out a single hiccup. Before I was getting light strikes every time I selected Super Safe mode.

It doesn’t appear to work in a Rock River AR9 that ises colt mags, which to my knowledge is the same as a Colt or Springfield AR9 with a 10.5” Faxon barrel. Just light primer strikes. One burst with a split case, maybe from out of battery detonation.
